On Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 2 p.m. at St. Matthias Episcopal Church of Tuscaloosa, the choir of St. Matthias and guests, Matthew Edwards: organist and conductor, will present an advent service of lessons and carols. Music includes excerpts from Messiah and “Nun komm, der Heiden Heiland”, from Bach’s Cantata 62. This event is free and open to the public. A freewill offering will be taken to benefit the ministries of St. Matthias, such as the Beans and Rice Ministry.
